EYEBROWS

Stellar Permanent Makeup offers an assortment of manual and machine cosmetic tattooing techniques for eyebrows including Microblading (hair strokes), Shading/Powder eyebrows, ombré brows, and combination eyebrows. Read below to get some insight on which techniques is best suited for you!

POWDER BROWS

Powder Ombre eyebrows are created using a tattoo machine to achieve a powdery effect that can range from very soft and natural to bold and more defined, or anywhere in between according to preference! This technique typically works on all skin types, making this cosmetic tattoo style for the brows the best option for mature, sensitive, or oily skin.

COMBINATION EYEBROWS

Combination eyebrows are a combination of microblading and powder performed with a cosmetic tattoo machine to achieve a more defined look than microblading alone can provide, creating a natural look with a little more "oomph" or a more defined dramatic body and tail of the brow with a more fluffy front of the brow.


MICROBLADING

Microblading is a form of permanent makeup in which a hand held tool is used instead of a traditional tattoo machine. The microblade creates hair like strokes in the skin to mimic eyebrow hair. it is used to blend, fill in, and reshape sparse eyebrows.

This option cuts the time spent on filling in your eyebrows in by 90%. It offers a good base for makeup, the option to swim and work out without having to worry about not having eyebrows, all while being virtually undetectable as a tattoo. If you prefer a more structured brow, then powder brows may be a better fit. Best suited for dry/normal, non-mature skin.

Please note that not everyone is a good candidate for microblading, whereas powder and ombré eyebrows can be performed on just about ANY skin type. Microblading is not suited for mature or very oily skin types. Powder brows are great option no matter age (in most cases), or skin type.

COVER-UPS & CORRECTIONS

Stellar PMU works over previously tattooed or microbladed brows on a case by case basis. You MUST schedule an in person consultation or send photos via email prior to booking your appointment to determine if you are a good candidate for a successful result.

If you show up to your appointment with previous work and have not submitted photos for approval, you will forfeit your deposit if you are not a candidate for a successful coverup. If brows are too saturated with previous tattoo they can not be covered up without removal first.

LIP BLUSH

Lip Blushing involves tattooing a flattering customized color throughout the lips to define and enhance the overall tone and shape of your lips. Your pout will appear more youthful as the flush of color adds so much liveliness to the face without being overly dramatic or looking harsh once healed. Color will appear much more dramatic when freshly done and will be about 50% lighter once healed for the perfect sheer tinted lip look.

Benefits of lip blush include:

  • Enhanced lip symmetry. Lip blushing can help to create a more symmetrical lip shape by filling in any areas of uneven pigmentation.

  • The ability to customize your lip shade. With lip blushing, you can choose the exact shade of color that you want for your lips.

  • Long-lasting lip color. The results of lip blushing can last for up to two years, depending on your individual skin type and lifestyle.

  • Color correction for uneven pigmentation and scars. Lip blushing can be used to correct uneven pigmentation and scars on the lips.

  • Fuller looking lips without injectables or surgery. Lip blushing can give the illusion of fuller lips without the need for injections or surgery.

LASH LINE ENHANCEMENT

A Lash Line Enhancement tattoo is a thin line along the base of the lashes and gives the illusion of a dense, fuller lash line. In traditional makeup, this technique would be called“tight lining” your upper eyelid.

When your eye is shut there is minimal trace of the eyeliner as there is with a typical cosmetic eyeliner. This technique will not replace the look of a full eyeliner. This is best for people who only tight-line their eyes or typically don’t wear eyeliner but would like to add more definition to the eyes.

FAUX FRECKLES

Freckle tattoos are a semi-permanent option to give you that sun-kissed look all-year round. Excessive sun exposure can cause serious damage, from wrinkles to skin cancer, but this service gives you that playful look without sacrificing your skin’s health.

Freckle tattoos will last 1-2 years depending on lifestyle and skin type before they start to fade depending on skincare and lifestyle. If you are anemic, they may fade more quickly. Typically the artists likes to place them in a way that isn’t symmetrical to allow them to appear more natural but we can also place them in specific areas according to preference.
